INSPIRATIONAL GARDENS

Gardens all over the earth have been inspirations for the gardens we are designing and building at Ashland Hall.

Here are just a few of the gardens that we have been especially impressed with.

Butchart Gardens - Victoria British Columbia in  Canada. One of the few gardens that we have traveled back to. The Sunken Garden is simply breathtaking and the Rose Garden is awe-inspiring.

Callaway Gardens - 13,000 acre gardens nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians in Pine Mountain Georgia. The PBS series, The Victory Garden filmed here for many years.

Japanese Gardens at the Irish National Stud Farm - believed to be the finest Japanese garden in Europe. It is more than a pretty garden, the garden is designed to tell the story of life, from birth to death. Thought-provoking.

Huntington Gardens - Fantastic gardens, art galleries and library in San Marino California which is not very far from Los Angeles. This is also a great place to have afternoon tea.

Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, England. One of the best gardens in the country which is more passionate about gardening than probably any other. Not too far from London.
